Carín León is making history as the first Latino performer to headline the cutting-edge Sphere in Las Vegas. The Música Mexicana star will play a three-night run from September 11–13, 2026, aligning with the city’s annual celebrations for Mexican Independence Day.
Produced by AEG Presents, the special engagement will make full use of Sphere’s massive high-resolution LED screens, promising fans an immersive visual and musical experience unlike any other.
A Career Milestone
The announcement comes just a year after León released his fourth studio album, Boca Chueca, Vol. 1 (May 2024). Following its release, he launched an international tour that included debut performances at Coachella and Stagecoach, along with major stops in North America and Europe. Highlights included sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
Most recently, León scored a No. 1 hit with “Me Está Doliendo,” his emotional collaboration with Alejandro Fernández. The single topped the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart and appeared on a special edition of his album Palabra de To’s.
Sphere’s Expanding Roster
León’s residency places him among an elite group of artists who have taken up runs at the futuristic venue since its September 2023 debut. U2 opened Sphere with their landmark U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere residency, followed by extended engagements from Dead & Company, Eagles, Anyma, and Phish.
